Over de functie
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for the entire sampling and production of the collection and monitor the quality, delivery time and margin of the commercial end product. You will work closely with design, development, buying and sales.
Tasks:
- Sourcing new manufacturers, fabrics and trims
- Prepare and monitor supplier contracts
- Contact with suppliers and travel independently to manufacturers
- Responsible for quality, price and delivery time of production orders to manufacturers all over Asia
- Responsible in coaching and managing the development team
- Requesting and checking protos, photo shoot samples, sales samples, size sets and pre-production samples
- Quality control of samples and production
- Checking and confirming QC reports
- Setting up and adhering to an efficient schedule for samples and production.
Functie eisen
Our new Production Manager has a proven track record with product development and production all over Asia
Our ideal candidate has;
- At least 5 years of experience in clothing production development and management
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset, but hands on
- Willingness and ability to travel to suppliers abroad
- Must be able to work from our Dubai office
- Good communication skills in English in word and writing
- Experience of Office and Excel required
