Over de functie
As a Global Logistics Manager at Merrachi you will be responsible for managing all global logistics of all product movements worldwide.
Your daily key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee all inbound shipments from factories to warehouses across global locations
- Coordinate outbound shipments from warehouses to various destinations, optimizing routes and carriers for speed and cost-effectiveness
- Review and verify packing lists, invoices, Customs, and other shipment documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Negotiate shipment rates with carriers and logistics partners to secure the best possible deals
- Continuously evaluate and improve shipment processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between production, warehousing, and distribution
Functie eisen
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a global Fashion or Lifestyle manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the same field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize shipment routes and rates
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Master of Excel and the ability to effectively navigate its functions
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Location: Ability to work full-time from Dubai
