Introduction:

The Chief Revenue Officer is responsible to achieve the company’s ambitious revenue targets and positioning it as a market leader. The ideal candidate will not only excel in driving immediate business growth but also demonstrate the potential to take on larger leadership roles within the organization, contributing to long-term strategic planning and execution.

The incumbent will drive substantial revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts in the international markets. You will also provide effective leadership and mentorship to the sales team, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.

To support business growth, the CRO will play a crucial role in managing and expanding the India and international team in collaboration with the Chief Operations Officer. 

The CRO will be accountable for the top and the bottom line of the organization. 

Strategic Sales and Business Development 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet organizational growth targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets
  • Increase overall revenue by generating business from new clients in existing and new markets, i.e. add clients with an addition of USD 2 million in year 1 to the business
  • Strategize to augment current lines of business to achieve higher revenue and growth

Client Relationship and Account Management

  • Oversee the entire client relationship lifecycle, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Build and maintain access to key business decision-makers and generate C-level contacts
  • Develop and execute account management strategies to maximize client engagement and revenue
  • Understand the needs of partners and marshal the right resources
  • Apply and demonstrate solution selling and account management practices

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all relevant stakeholders - external and internal
  • Develop and enhance a high-performance culture
  • Mentor and manage the team of professionals, providing strategic input as well as tactical interventions
